Integrating the National
Hydro Datasets
An Application-Ready NHD Implementation
This presentation describes the use of outlet points as
an approach for integrating raster and vector water resources
data in a way that doesn't require modifying the source
data. The technique is demonstrated with an example from
the Washita basin in Oklahoma using raster data from the
National Elevation Dataset (NED) and vector data from the
National Hydrography Dataset (NHD).
