First NHD Application
Symposium
National Hydrography Dataset Application Symposium
December 11-14, 2000, Austin, Texas
The first-ever NHD Application Symposium was held on December
11-14, 2000, at the University of Texas JJ Pickle Research
Campus in Austin, Texas. The Symposium served as a forum
for the presentation and discussion of applications using
the National Hydrography Dataset (NHD) and several other
closely associated national datasets, the National Elevation
Dataset (NED), the NED hydrologic derivatives (NED-H) and
the National Watershed Boundary Dataset (NWBD).
The Symposium was sponsored by:
- The U.S. Geological Survey
- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency
- The Center for Research in Water Resources at the University
of Texas at Austin
