Biography
Born in North Haven, CT, Bryan attended
Villanova University
outside of Philadelphia, PA as a civil engineering student.
There he became interested in Water Resources while taking
part in several international service projects. Following
the advice of his professors, Bryan headed south to Austin
to attend the University of Texas for his masters. Between
his studies Bryan took a hiatus from engineering and worked
at the North West
Youth Corp, where he was a Crew leader for a troupe of
14 and 15 year old boys working on environmental restoration
projects. His interests include traveling, watching movies
and outdoor activities.
Research
Bryan is the resident data elf at CRWR and is involved in
Texas’ version of the
Hydrologic Information Systems.
His work has included:

Work with the HydroExcel
spreadsheet. An Excel application which allows for easy
data access and investigation (link).

Data loading with SQL
Server Integrated Services. Using Visual Basic Scripts
to upload data into the Observation Data Model (link).

Web Services publication
and data tagging of data from the Observation Data
Model.
